been in charge of the SK club since monday..
SK club is a club where children can borrow games, play them,watch movies/cartoOn & learn crafts during their recesses..
That is becos in the pri skoO, pe lessons are held everyday soO 2 prevent the children frm running arnd, the club is set up.

soO SK club was opened on Monday & it was like a MADHOUSE!
hahahah...it's the highest endurance levle (of noise) one can stand..OMG.
& the bad part is u can't tell them 2 talk softer (becOs dey're supposed 2 let down their hair)..
wells we have club managers (CM) who are upper pri students 2 help..
BUT it's NEVER ENOUGH. lOlx..
children just won't listen..u tell them smth, then dey'll forget in a moment..
which is why sometimes u feel scolding them never works lOlx..

hO wells, even had 2 put tO CMs at the doOr 2 act as 'bouncers' cOs some children leave without packing up the games..lOlx.

p & vp called the relief teachers (RT) in today..
tot smth very negative like reviewing our performance lOlx..
but dey're sending us on a relief teaching course!
it's nt subject oriented but pertaining more to lifeskills & basically how 2 succeed i guess~
it's str8 after new year & we'll b paid going for the course lOlx..
& after the course, we'll sort of be upgraded toO! woOts!!
Of course, there'll then be higher expectations~

nothing much happened among our clique except tt my fellow jie mei (alvin) lOlx suffered many heartaches..
we found out tt he liked a pe teacher whom he tinks is hOt but we debated over tt opinion (cOs one of us actually said she's underdeveloped) Omg..haha she's definitely nt lar..
soO everytime he sees her, his eyes will sparkle~
and today she tripped over smth & fell down during meeting time..that loOk of concern written all over his face..lOlx~!!
toO bad she's attached...lOlx~!!

my cOmp's back after 5 days of sick leave..lOlx yay!!!
couldn't rmb wad we did for work on mon & tues..but there's free lunch for all (like catering buffet) cOs our dm, devindra gOt some award & it's one of the reasons why foOd was free..lOlx~

hO there was free lunch on tues for me..ehehe tt's cOs i helped my jie mei 2 mark his classwork but we had a great time marking..hahaha!
kids were supposed 2 identify what's living & non-living in the science garden..
some kid even wrote spiderman..hahaha!
and butterfly was spelt as blutterful lOlx..
There was even one word in a child's work that resembles egyptian symbols..
Omg we laugh until stomache...

and some of them actually copied wholesale frm their friends..it's sO obvious cOs all the spelling mistakes are the same...hahaha!

alrite. back to wed.
We were super bored at some point in time during meeting..
soO andrew starting saying how 2 make sure kids listen to you (Ken had a hard time controlling the kids in his class; his voice is almost gone)..soO he came up with the lighter & keroscene idea omg..soO freaky..
"Huh who?!" *flicks lighter* "Who wasn't listening?"
He even tot of pouring lines of keroscene oil on the classroOm floOr, each line leading to a few students..
"Who was talking just now? Which line?"

i think if he's my teacher, i'll b living in constant fear..
ahaha soO lame.

But it'll b really troublesome if teachers have 2 carry that keroscene can along whereever dey gO..lOlx..soO next was voOdoO dolls & needles idea:
"Which guy wasn't listening?" *poke the doll's arm*

Jessie oso really have nothing better to dO; she wanted the guys 2 arm wrestle with her & the funniest thing was all of them had the sacarstic, "are u trying 2 amuse me" expression..lOlx..
Andrew even drew up his sleeve "Did you happen to see THIS" *shows rippling muscle* lOlx~!!!

oh manx...

watched night at the museum with oinks on saturday..lOlx..
hey! it's quite enjoyable, come to think of it..
really nice popcorn movie..not toO overrated nOR bland..haha
and it's really funny toO!

but i still prefer adam sandler to ben stiller.

actually wanted 2 watch tt movie Feast cOs it loOks really gOry and i haven seen a scary movie for ages...lOlx.

went to eat at swiss culture...cOsts a bOmb & burnt quite a hole in oinks's pocket.
ate the beef lamb chop chix combo with a selection of 2 types of sauce:
we chose red wine & mushroOm..as well as potato wedges + a cheese sausage.
OMG it's like $45.80+ boOhoO...but it's really really goOd...
i love the red wine sauce!
cOs i'm a popular card member, i get 2 enjoy a free choc fondue worth $16.80!! hehe...
and after eating tt, i feel the highlight of the day was THAT.
thick dark choc swimming...accompanied by strawberries, apples, marshmallows & bananas..
ur heart will swoon when u mix choc with mallows..ahHHHHhhH!

haha..yay at last i made some progress with my new year purchases!!
gOt 1 blouse, 2 skirts & 2 more pairs of shOes..hehe...
but i'm already wearing one since the rainy season has spoiled alot of my shOes..zZz.

ate sushi tei on saturday!
it was a bit ex but the foOd has standard...
i ordered the cha soba pork cutlet set while my mum ate the salmon sashimi & salmon rOe rice set..
OMG...the foOd was delicious..i was sO crazy over my mum's salmon rOe becOs it's the 1st time i've tasted something soO scrumptious! lOlx..
for those who hated the raw stench of the rOe will find sushi tei's salmon roe extremely appetizing..
and becOs of that, i ordered the salmon roe chawanmushi...egg + roe = 10/10!!
it's the perfect combi..haha..
the macha ice cream was Oso great...yummy!

i must gO eat there again.

haha..ytd i went to a p1 class to teach and was observed by the form teacher..
i wrote in my last entry that i had 2 read a story (but there's more tO that..lOlx.)
was actually quite nervous cos for the whole period, she was always busy writing..
folded paper bOats & printed a poem for them before going thru the story.
when the lesson was over, i expected 2 hear lots of feedback BUT she said i was excellent!!!
yay!! i was sO happy lOlx cOs it was the hardest out of my 3 assessments!
sO when she said i was very natural, all my hard work was paid off..hehe.

today did a few relief toO but was a disaster partly cOs i was relieving a malay class sO some showed disrespect & spoke only in malay..and there're very noisy & couldn't keep still..zZZ...
had house practise after that..
nOw feeling rather tired.
and i left my phone in my staff roOm..boOhoo.
hopefully it's safe & sound!

oh man..finally a week ends..
dun hafta deal with all sorts of children..
haha.

OMG. had relief frm 8am- 10.30am ytd..ahHhhhHH!
but at 8.30-9am, i was teaching a p5 class (under observation by the class teacher)..
haha luckily that class is extremely bright and almost all are paying attention soO it was quite oOkie..
the rest of my relief are all PE lessons..zZz..
their warm up exercises for ACES is getting more and more chim..but definitely coOler than wad we learn in the past hha..
then toOk ht & wt for a p2 class..it is CRAZY...noisy and hard 2 control them..
finally i gt my fren, andrew 2 *silence* them but it didn't work -_-...

haha today i gotta dO relief toO & another observation lesson.
Relief was for a chi class but cOs i was nt required 2 teach, i jus printed out a maze game & a colouring page...the p1s there are extremely hard 2 tame toO..haha
then andrew came in to relief the rest of the time, he was shocked cos the kids were all over the place & talking very loudly haha...

then got this boy from the class kept hugging me!!!
ARGH! nt that i'm unfriendly but it's sO disturbing...
then he said he liked me...eeEEeK!
i'm sO glad i'm nt their teacher.

then did observation for a p6 class...this time haven finish wad i had 2 dO & Mr Lawrence Chan (yes, the one who said he wants 2 sleep lOlx) will only tell me my strengths and weaknesses on mon..zZZz..

monday i gt another lesson observation for p1s..OMG.
it's just reading a story BUT, i had 2 talk abt the pictures in the story..
like "What are the children doing?"
"They are playing with the paper boats."
then u have 2 link it to paper boats/ wad the children like 2 play soO on and soO forth..zZZ..
then when i read the story, for example if i see the word "gardener" i have ask qns abt gardeners and link frm there...omg.
i even have 2 speak perfect english in proper sentences...yikes!!!

I can't just read tt story & get it over and done with.

ahHh..didn't update in a while..hmMMm.
monday i went to relief for both a p5 and a p1 class, both chinese OMG.
haah luckily dun need 2 teach them!

p5s were easier to control of course and the teacher had already given them some work to do..
for the p1s, they had a pre-test! omg soO poOr thing..1st week of lesson & there's a test..dOts.
then after that, they're supposed to complete an intro ws..lOlx..
but there was really lack of time for them.

hmMm..didn't do much ytd except to help in my homeclass but had to stay back for some safety talk thingy for staff as well as preparation for sports day..
ahha me and another colleague, Bok was in charge of running/ relay soO on the spot, we planned some stuff like shuttle run (touch 1st point go back, run 2 second point go back & soO on)..
then kids like to do that cOs it's competition betw 2 groups...

haha and guess what??
i met kitson's sister there cOs she was also in yellow house..
my mind was like blank when she ask whether i'm her bro kitson's fren..lOlx.
tsk tsk.

Teachers during the staff meeting was also being very mean ahha..
cOs it's on safety soO the DM was toking abt the bees incident & tt we of course would risk our lives 2 protect the children should the need arises..then 1 guy said "maybe he ( DM) can lar cos he got bigger surface area wad!"

then there was another whereby a child died overseas; the dm ask "what if the media calls u in the middle of the nite & ask for your comments?"
Lawrence replied "i want to sleep."

went to visit my sec skoO ytd...
ermX..it really loOks like a giant shopping mall nOw cOs of its grey colour.
classroOms still loOk the same except for the change of windows & repainted colours..
lesser greenery lOlx...which makes it loOk like a prison.
dey built the basketball court on top of one of the blocks..zZzz..
as well as a sheltered parade square (that space was extra huge!)
dey also made a tiny garden (with pond & small bridges) in one of the big grass patches.

saw some of our old teachers; dey've nv changed..hahahs.
sad didn't get 2 see mrs pang, my no.1 teacher.
and the most shocking thing was our sec 4 geOg teacher, Miss Mabel Goh is now the VP..*faints*
after all these years, she's still a 'Miss' tsk tsk...guess hardly any guy likes a career woman despite how pretty she loOks.

After that, we went to eat at the coffee shop near my old house becOs dey sell the best chicken rice i've ever tasted..hahas..still at an incredible price of $2!
yummy~ and i drank my fave ice lemon tea which was actually part of daily routine 2 buy lemon teas after recess to bring up tO class.
then went to jiaying's hse cOs it's been 3 yrs since we went there..
we used to dO that during sec skoO days after lessons tO chill & watch movies at her hse & coOk instant noOdles..geEz.

went out with my parents today 2 vivOcity.
OMG. after like 4 hrs, i only gOt a top.
ahhHhhhHHHhhHH...
and i love thOse shoes dey sell at ebass BUT BUT dey always dun have my size..ack.

i tink i need 2 shOp more; maybe i need 2 gO far east again zZz..cOs at least their clothes are cheaper.

skoO starts for ytd...as a teacher!
hahas...it's orientation on wed thur fri soO nO lessons fOr me yet.
followed my home class..
my voice almost became hoarse becOs of the naughty kids..zZz.

but it's better than other job i may have taken cOs i have friends & friendly teachers as well as a big desk~!
teachers tt appear soO strict & scary in front of the kids are actually extremely childish & dey laugh alOt..
and during meeting times, there's stuff to go around toO like biscuits or fruits lOlx..
as well as instant tea coffee / milO.

but apart from that, i'm still as tired as when i'm studying..
only tt i ddin't dOze off during wOrk cOs there're nO boOks tO bore me.
zZZZzzZZZzzZZZZZzzzzzZZZz....

yay yay!
shopped alot these 2 days..my family spent abt almost $400 in total..lOlx..
gOt my puma pants fOr skoO...didn't expect my mum 2 buy fOr me..heEx.

and gOt my bag today!!!
it's a dark red bag from elle..hehe.
but i have tO pay 1/2 cOs she's nt willing to bear the full cOSt..zZz..

i'm back to primary skoO after 12 yrs of studying lOlx..
